Slightly difficult to use
I find this site to be slightly difficult to use and quite impersonal... like visiting a strangers blog and leaving random comments... ehh.. I'm sure it will improve with time, but as of now... I'm not feeling it at all.

Agreed.
Ive been thinking of just posting a little avatar above what I say, but putting forth effort is so hard.

Also I don't want to have to type: sid.mee.nu into the "Web:" box every time I post.

OK, so...
I just tried to add a new topic, asking how I can blog, and it wouldn't even let me do that!
Imagine for a moment that I'm old, lazy, and wet-brained from too much excitement in the 90's...no, really, try to imagine that...
How do I use My Personal Website?
Like, how could I blog?
WTF?
Thanks in advance for stating the obvious,
Em

For posting in the forum there is a join button on the front page you probably need to click first.
For posting blogs:
On your own page click edit. On the left side under "Content" click new post. Type it up and it should sit at the bottom of your main page.

I find that it is impersonal in layout I suppose. It seems a wee bit difficult to find the "hot topics" so to speak. I also wish we had avis or siggys. If it were possible to have the most recently updated posts marked in some way, that would be helpful.

These forums are junk quality, a simple fix to get some high quality forums
http://invisionfree.com/
you can also get litterly thousands of skins for um here
http://forums.ifskinzone.net/
The forum quality of invisionfree is amazing, and its all free.
Example: http://s9.invisionfree.com/TrySkinForum93/index.php
They are also very simple to set up, once you get use to the interface.
